Twisted motor elements with straight guideways

One example of LCD LaserCut AG’s innovations is illustrated by a large segmented stator stack.

For electrical reasons, the winding slots at the inner diameter of the stack is twisted. The mechanical guideways (e.g. swallowtails) on the external diameter of the stack are straight.

Each sheet therefore has a different geometry, and is a unique specimen. The flexible laser production technique is ideally suited to this situation. The laser is programmed using «LCD Slice Software» and the stack is then manufactured in a continuous process.
